The Bottom Outlet Filter Valve – AFV-1000 is a high-quality valve commonly supplied as standard by leading plastic tank manufacturers. It is designed for use with both steel and bottom outlet plastic domestic heating oil tanks.

To ensure proper maintenance, the tank should be installed with enough clearance beneath the filter bowl to allow access for servicing, including space for a tray to collect any potential spillage.

The AFV-1000 Bottom Outlet Filter Valve is rigorously tested before leaving our facility to guarantee optimal performance. When fitted and serviced with care, this valve provides reliable and trouble-free operation.

Key features include an isolation valve, a 50-micron nylon filter element, and a 1″ BSP male tank-fitting adaptor. The outlet is 3/8″ BSP female, and the valve is supplied with a 3/8″ BSP male to 10mm compression fitting as standard.

For added convenience, the valve comes complete with a roll of PTFE tape and a 10mm plastic bottle of Heldite, ensuring a secure and leak-free connection to the tank.
