Introducing the Sight Gauge Ball Level Indicator, commonly known as the “red pea!”

This aluminium, hollow red ball floats effortlessly on Kerosene and Diesel, providing a vibrant visual cue for your oil tank’s fuel level. Designed to work seamlessly with both the Atkinson Tankmaster and Atkinson Push Button sight tubes, it’s the perfect indicator for easy monitoring.

Please note, due to the anodising process, each ball may display two small clear patches or markings. This is entirely normal and does not affect the ball’s performance. The red anodised coating is purely for visual aid, and the shade may vary slightly from batch to batch.

Over time, sight gauges can become cloudy from exposure to the elements, making it harder to gauge your fuel level. That’s where the red pea comes in! The bright red ball will float atop the oil, ensuring you can easily check your fuel level, even if the sight tube becomes weathered.

Sight Tubing: For an additional solution, consider replacing the PVC sight tubing. Available in 60-metre or 30-metre coils, or cut to your preferred length, the price is calculated per coil or per metre depending on your needs.

Fitting Tip: When cutting the sight tube, make an angled cut of about 45° to avoid creating a vacuum when fitting the black cap. Also, leave an extra 15mm beyond the sight shield to account for shrinkage.

Compatible with both the Atkinson Tankmaster sight tube and the Atkinson Push Button Sight Tube.
